2009 Environmental Stewardship Tour July 2, 2009

The Foy's of Glendo, Wyoming are the winners of the 2009 Environmental Stewardship Award from the Wyoming Stock Growers Association and the 2009 Aldo Leopold Conservation Award Winner. Rocky and Nancy Foy and their kids are the third (and fourth) generations operating a commercial cow-calf operation. Through utilization of an appropriate formal grazing system they have improved the condition of their ranch and are enrolled in the NFU Carbon Credit Program. On July 2, 2009 over 300 local and state political leaders, community supporters, friends and family (including Liz Mathern of NFU and Steve McComb of the CCX) gathered at the Foy Ranch to tour the ranch, learn about stewardship practices and present several recognitions and awards. Congrat's Foy Family!
